O N E | Mom and I are watching through Road to Avonlea for the third time now, and we've decided that as soon as she's completely healed from Lyme disease, we're going on a trip to Prince Edward Island. We couldn't remember exactly where it was in Canada, so we looked it up on the atlas that we've had since I was a little kid. Not ashamed to say that I still love all of the little drawings and bright colors. *smile*
T W O | Really enjoying the tea that came in this month's Birchbox!
T H R E E | Homemade blueberry muffins, fresh from the oven.
F O U R | Bunny, my friend's corgi. I love dogs a lot already, but this one has a special place in my heart.
F I V E | Minions! I made minion cupcakes for my bro's surprise party/game night. Aren't they adorable?!
S I X | Alex and the Bonnie dog at game night. Whenever we're in a circle on the floor with the game in the middle, she thinks she should be in the middle of it. ;) Love that dog so much. And game night was wonderful. It deserves it's own post.
How was your week?
Did you do anything exciting?
What has the Lord been showing you through His Word?
I want to know!

Game night does deserve it's own post... :) That was so much fun!! Such rich fellowship!!
ReplyDeleteGod has been teaching me to trust Him completely and that His timing is truly perfect...we serve an amazing God!!!
Love you!!
Minions! And blueberry muffins!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd illustrated atlases (atlant... whatever...) are so much fun. And yes, Prince Edward Island - my sister was recently going through an illustrated book on Canada and also decided she definitely wanted to visit the Maritimes one day, and I'd like to be there when she does. :-)
Phew, so many exciting things on my part! Semester started! New courses! I apparently made it to the interpreting course, yay! I made it to the modern history of Canada course as well! (This, however, means I won't be able to attend archery lessons with my sister as we hoped we would be able to do.) And the medieval literature one! I'm reading Beowulf for two courses for next week! (Not the whole of it, thankfully, although I've already read it before anyway.) A long guest lecture on Finnish literature! And I've found out that there's a Jane Austen group in Brno that does dances and lectures and picnics! I'm not sure which part I'm most excited about. :-)
That looks like such a neat atlas. I've always enjoyed geography/maps. :) Love the minions!
ReplyDeleteNothing really exciting this week for me, except for watching Doctor Who. ;) We're nearing the end of series 6 and I'm really loving Eleven right now. It's just so adorable! Other than that though, just regular life stuff for me.
I was able to visit Prince Edward Island on a trip a few years ago to Nova Scotia. It was just a short trip across the bay from there. Prince Edward Island, like Nova Scotia is just beautiful in the Summer with flowers and summer salt air breezes. You definitely should plan a visit there and Nova Scotia as well. Gorgeous and so much history to see and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHehe, love those minions!
Those minions are amazing! So cute.:) That is an awesome idea.
ReplyDeleteOh! Can I come with you two to P.E.I? I was just saying recently that I want to go there some day. I would really like to do an "Anne" photo shoot. One of my friends from OKC has the most beautiful red hair, maybe I could steal her away to use as "Anne".:) Know anyone with dark enough hair to be Diana?
One day, I would like to be able to come up for game night... that is if I am permitted to invite myself.:) It sounds and looks like such fun!!!
I received the same tea (and dry conditioner - I see yours peeking out behind the tea) in my Birchbox, too! :-D
ReplyDeleteLove the minion cupcakes; they are adorable! I've had quite an exciting week since my 21st birthday was on the 21st! I went shopping with my aunt and grandmother as a birthday gift, babysitting, watching old movies, and all sorts of stuff! Thank you so much for following my blog!

Have SO enjoyed your "Photo A Day" posts. So much fun!! Would love to read the recipe you used for the muffins sometime! :)
ReplyDeleteSarah - Game night shall have it's own post, soon...very soon. We have some of the most awesome friends! I'm so glad you and your sibs could come this time!! :D
ReplyDeleteThat's what He has been teaching me over the past year. Amen! He is an awesome God!
Hana-Marmota - Goodness, you're going to be one busy girl! Sounds like so much fun!!
Sereina - It is really neat. I love maps, too:)
Doctor Who definitely rates a 10 on the excitement scale!! :D
Winnie - :jealous: I definitely need to visit there.
Maria - I saw the idea on Pinterest, so I can't take credit for it. And Kellie reminded me, so I can't even take credit for thinking of making them for Alex. lol!
YES! We should go to PEI together!! =D Hmm, I don't think I have any friends with dark/black hair...but I keep my eyes open. ;)
You are totally invited to game night!! I really hope you can come someday soon!
Melissa - The tea is so good!! Very strong and full of flavor! Love it!!
Sarah - Happy Birthday! It's your "golden" birthday, turning 21 on the 21st!
You're welcome:)
Mary Elizabeth - I'm so glad you're enjoying these photo posts! I made the muffins with a friend and used her recipe. I'll have to get it from her and share it here:)
Hehe. School makes it busy; but on the other hand, I like that it works on a week-to-week basis, which makes me much less busy by the end!
ReplyDeleteI'm horrible at time management, so I actually admire you home-working people for being able to produce so much good things completely on your own...
-many things- *phew* And I'm a student of English! :D
