I have a question for all of my readers.
First off, do you have any idea how much I appreciate each and every one of my fabulous readers? If you have a blog of your own, I know you feel the same about your own readers. I'm still amazed that there are people who read my blog. People who I've never meet in real life. Every single time I hit 'publish', and then receive so many wonderful comments from you all, I'm amazed. And so blessed. You're all amazing!
So, my question is, why?
Why do you read my blog?
I'm genuinely curious to know why you decided to follow and read my tiny, crazy, random little corner of the blogging world.

That is a coincidence.
ReplyDeleteI mean this is the first time I am here and a direct question for me to answer.
It is difficult for me to answer but maybe I can answer that after reading a few more posts..... like Watson, I mean Sherlock Holmes....
I read your blog because you post about fun things. You seem like someone that I would be friends with in real life. Oh, and you love old movies as well. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, I only just began following your blog yesterday-- :) but I got here from Alexandra's link to your lovely desktop wallpapers! I'd seen some of your comments on Kellie's blog as well, and I thought your blog looked interesting, so I started following. Haven't had time to look at any back posts yet, but I'd like to!
ReplyDeleteHmmm I think the reason why I follow your blog is because I'm interested on what you have to say. :)
ReplyDeleteBecause kindred spirits are hard to find. :) Because I don't know anyone else who loves the things I do - well, random things like TSP and Doctor Who and all that. :) Because I don't have any friends locally (not meant as a sob-story comment, just stating a fact ;-)) and my blog friends are just like everyone getting together and hanging out. :) Because sometimes people just "click". :)
ReplyDeleteTasha- I follow your blog because you have so many interesting pursuits. Sometimes it is old movies. Sometimes it is all about lambing and farm care. Sometimes it is a virtual walk in various locations in beautiful north Idaho. Sometimes it is fun fashion . Sometimes it is a thoughtful response to life challenges. You obviously take a lot of time to create your posts to make them beautiful, fun, and welcoming!! When I post a reply , you kindly acknowledge my visit so I feel like we really connected even though many miles separate us. Visiting your blog feels like we are friends on this crazy journey of life just sharing and reaching out. I am new to all of this and much older than your regular viewers, but somehow you make me feel welcome and that means so much to me!!! I love being a part of your virtual friends circle and one day I hope to meet you in person!!
ReplyDeleteI like to read your blog because we have a lot in common. I was homeschooled through high school. I also admire the Christian spirit you emphasize on your blog. You don't complain or write about depressing topics. but write about what is good, beautiful, and true.
ReplyDeleteI thank you for that. :)
i enjoy your blog because....i think we have some things in common...it interests me to hear and see the things you're up too:)
ReplyDeleteI like your blog because we have similar interest: animals, classics, gardening, Christian, stay at home daughter just to name a few. I am so glad to have found your blog and your friend Kelly. You ladies seem so sweet. You have inspired me to open my own Etsy store eventually.
ReplyDeleteAlso my parents own 5 acres in Grangeville. I love Idaho and am really hoping we move there someday.
Kimberly
Why do I read your blog? My answer is pretty much the same as others have stated:
ReplyDelete~Because you're a kindred spirit
~Because I like to find out what you're up to
~Because you write cheerfully--realistically, but with a focus on whatever things are good and right and all that. It's very uplifting, entertaining, and--I'm sure--God-honoring.
Keep up the good work, sister!
God bless,
~"Tom"~
Hi Natasha:
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice opportunity you've given us to tell you why we enjoy your blog!
Actually, I was reading your blog while you were on Plexipedia, but I was not commenting. I initially began to read your blog to keep up on The Hat Band's activities, as you often mentioned them then and provided photos & even videos of some of their venues.
When you moved your blog to blogspot, I resumed my visits but this time I started to comment as I realized that you posted about things that sometimes interested me, such as your dear animal friends and your beautiful home at the foot of Cedar Mtn. Your kindness and appreciation of natural beauty has kept me a fan.
I know I don't fit into the demographics you were expecting to attract to your blog, but I hope you'll let me continue to comment from time to time.
Sincerely, Will
Well, I found your blog on Pinterest. Just looking through your Pinterest I was beginning to think we were kindred spirits and then when I went to your blog...*happy sigh*...the Lord sent several blogger-girls into my path a few weeks ago, girls who shared a lot of my interests. That was exactly what I needed, since I was beginning to think I was something of an oddball with my *ahem* broad and very diverse interests!
ReplyDeleteSo I read your blog because it encourages me--not only in my walk as a Christian and a stay-at-home-daughter, but as a dedicated member of, shall we say, various fandoms? Because as C.S. Lewis said:
"We delight to praise what we enjoy because the praise not merely expresses but completes the enjoyment; it is its appointed consummation. It is not out of compliment that lovers keep on telling one another how beautiful they are; the delight is incomplete till it is expressed.”
Natasha Marie, thank you for your blog. It has been a very big blessing in my life :)
I read your blog because I exist. And because we share a brain. And because... well, goodness! Because anything and everything you post about is always of paramount interest to me. Because we share a brain.
ReplyDeleteHehe... how'd I do?
I'm a new follower, but I'm following cuz you love Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who, and Jane Austen, and Jesus, and classic movies, and you're just overall an awesome person. ;) Teeheehee.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog because, as I believe someone mentioned earlier, it's hard to find "kindred spirits." :) I so enjoy reading your posts...we share several interests, and it's great fun to read about others thoughts on my 'favorite things!'
ReplyDeleteWhen I found your blog from a link on Bramblewood Fashion a few months back I thought it was so neat that, my family and I having just moved up here, you lived in Idaho! I have found your posts so interesting and fun that I have continued to follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be a "kindred spirit" in a lot of ways to myself, something that like others have said is hard to find. I love all the different things you blog about especially since a lot of them are things I enjoy as well! Your sense of humor also seems a lot like mine which is something that is hard for me to find (maybe it's that I just don't get around enough, ya know being homeschooled and all, hehe.;)
God bless you and keep you sister! And again, I am looking forward to meeting you in person!
~Mia
