Snapshots // Autumn 2013

Just random snapshots from September - November that haven't made it to the blog until now.  Enjoy!

Game Night at Laura's house = awesomeness

Surprise packages from dear friends.  Thank you, Winnie!

Poor picture quality, but Bonnie and Merlin looked so cute I had to share it anyway.

Yep, that's me - I got to drag the fields this year.  Tractors are fun!

Guy Fawkes Day...don't ask what we did with our scarecrow once he had a head.  You probably don't want to know...but it was epic.  Just sayin'... ;)

Fall has moved along much  more slowly than my summer did.  It's nice to have a break from all of the hurry.  I must say, it was starting to wear me out!  Now there's time to focus on sticking to my house cleaning schedule (it's more like guidelines than actual rules...), getting the shop stocked and ready for Black Friday, working on Christmas gifts, and getting to bed earlier.  Ha! Like that last one actually happens!  Anyway, it's been a pleasantly restful fall this year, and I'm loving it.

What have you been loving about this fall?  I want to know!

p.s.
I've been thinking that I should have a blog party sometime soon...actually, I just now had that thought.  It's been over a year since my last one.  Any ideas for themes?  I'm thinking of aiming for late March...maybe coincide it with my shop's 3rd anniversary.  Anyway, I'll be thinking about it.

  1. Fun, fun photo gallery of the beautiful fall in north Idaho. I especially love the first shot with the lake. Awesome beauty! Fall seems like the perfect way to put the farm to bed and slow down for more time to enjoy the quietness of the cooler days and eves. We are now just starting to have some cooler days so we are way behind the rest of the nation in getting into a new pace of slow and quiet. What have I been loving about this fall?? I joined a knitting group and I have been having so much fun!

  4. Merlin's too cute for his own good, and you people seem to have way too much fun.
Although it seems to be the kind of fun there can never be too much of, so feel free to disregard my wording. :-)

I can't make up my mind about things I've been loving. I think most of it has to do with fruit. And books. And a little bit of our own cuddly cats, I suppose.

  5. Love all these photos! Merlin is such a cutie!(:
Ooh, a blog party would be fantastic! Of course, as soon as you ask for ideas all I can come up with is...well, nothing. But I love the idea, haha! I bet you'll come up with something great.

Ooh...just had a thought, but a Sherlock themed blog party would be such fun!

  6. Winnie - Ooh, your knitting group sounds like fun!

Cassie - I'm glad someone gets my humor! lol!

Treskie - I like these kinds of posts, too. It's looking at someone else's life through their eyes, and I love that.

Hana-Marmota - If it is indeed possible to have too much fun, then we overindulge every week. ;)
Fruit, books, and cuddly cats sound perfect:)

Vicki - Ahh yes, a Sherlock blog party would be most excellent! I shall consider it. :)
