Sunday Style // Zebras & Lace

zebra print skirt // thrifted // Dazzle

Styling my zebra skirt a different way today...and I kind of love it!  This skirt is just begging to go to the next swing dance.  It's perfect for spinning!  And I think it looks great with the lace and denim combo.  What do you think?

Today I'm linking up to...
Perspective} WIW to church
: :

What a fabulous Sunday!  The beginning of a new study, sweet fellowship with my church family, and getting to hold my favorite 4-year-old on my lap through the entire service.  She's almost too big for that, so I'm getting in as much snuggle time as possible. *smile*

We've just started going through the book of John.  After Pastor's outline of the book today, I am so excited to get started!!  Not what we normally do, but today he had 21 people get up front and hold up signs with the different chapters on them while he explained what was going on in each chapter and divided the book into sections.  Prologue, Public Ministry, Private Ministry, Passion Ministry, and Post Script.  Very cool and easier to remember.  Yep, totally excited about this!

How about you?  What was your sermon about?
What are you looking forward to this week?  I want to know!

  1. Cute outfit, Tasha! I don't own anything quite at bold as your zebra print skirt, but you pull it off beautifully. Maybe I'll look a little further outside of my comfort zone next time I'm shopping. ;)

  2. Love that zebra/denim look! Fun,swirly, with a touch of rugged against that icy driveway sets the tone for a winter adventure? The Gospel of John will be a good study this Spring semester as it leads up to the important Good Friday reading of the betrayal of Jesus.

  3. I do love the zebra with lace and denim. Totally interesting, and it works!

I'm studying Matthew right now... I'd love to hear your thoughts as you study John.

Thanks for liking up at Perspective!

  4. Funny...I didn't even notice the zebra print yesterday...though I do remember mentally noting "Tasha looks beautiful as always!!" and liking your lace..

I loved yesterday's sermon--I am really excited to be going through John in depth. We did a study on 1 John a few years ago, which was really enlightening...
I loved how Pastor Paul broke it up into sections, and reviewed the purpose of the 4 Gospels.

PS, your skirt will be PERFECT for swing dancing!!
I'm looking forward to starting nannying again, and hopefully get some sewing in too?! :) Oh yes, and blogging Belize...

  5. That skirt does look perfect for dancing! All the photos are really cute. :)

  6. Wow! That lace top sure gets around, and totally works with the more casual denim jacket and fun zebra skirt! LoveLoveLove that necklace--so classy with the lace!

And may I just say, that hairstyle is very becoming on you? :-)

    God bless,
