Here, kitty kitty...

Ladies and gents, it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to my newest critter.
If you guessed I was getting a cat/kitten, then you are 100% correct!  Folks, say hello to Merlin...

It didn't take too long to come up with a name for this fluffy grey cutie.  Merlin just fits him.  He's extremely playful, has the Bonnie dog buffaloed, and fell asleep in my lap last night.  Poor little guy spent most of yesterday riding in cars and locked up in a kennel cage.  My friend's brought him with them to church where we made the switch, but "mommy" sort of abandoned him to run off to a Bluegrass festival at the last minute.  I kept calling my bro to make sure he didn't leave him at church. *wink*

Happy Trails!

p.s.
The Bluegrass was totally worth it, btw.  I knew it would be.
Time spent with good friends is always worth it.

  1. Awwwww, what a cute wittle tweetums! /BABYTALK

He reminds me of our Smokey-cat that we had until I was five or so--grey an fluffy like a pussy-willow.

Does Merlin have white hind legs, or is that the lighting? Anyhoo, he's adorable! Welcome to your new home, Master Merlin!

    god bless,

  5. What a sweet-looking little boy.

I once had a Ragdoll mix named Teddy. He was charcoal gray like Mitts and this little guy and just as good-natured and sociable as a cat can be. He was a "talker."
Even as he got older he never ceased being very playful and always in the center of things, especially when visitors were around. He was a big husky cat with silky hair and where he most loved lying is in somebody's lap!

Have a great time with Merlin, whose name I love. May he bring a lot of magic into your life.

  7. He is so cute Tasha, and looks JUST like his sister! (his sister joined our group of kittens a little over a week ago) I heard they looked alike, and man do they ever! They both look like exact copies of their mother. Cute name! We haven't named ours yet... poor thing she may never have a name other than "the gray kitten". :)

I am glad Alex didn't forget Merlin. Alex told me I was responsible for reminding him to get the kitten, and if he forgot well then apparently it was somehow going to be my fault. Didn't follow he reasoning, (especially since I was leaving right after he told me that) but oh well.:)

    Have fun with Merlin!
    Love, "Mia"

Winnie - I have to agree with you there! He is a cute, cute kitty:)

Maria - I'm so glad we got a chance to talk last Sunday! Seemed like forever since we'd had a good chat. And I'm SO excited about your family's news!! :D
