Sunday Style // Cowgirl-y

o u t f i t
blouse / ruffled tank top / skirt // thrifted {Dazzle}
cowgirl boots // Ariat brand

Who doesn't enjoy dressing up cowgirl style?  I recently realized that most of my western and western-ish style blouses were worn out, so I was delighted to find this blouse at the thrift store last week.  It may very well be the best fitting blouse I own, even including the ones I've sewn myself!  When it wears out I'm using it as a pattern, that's for sure!  It pairs perfectly with my brown eyelet skirt and my well worn, well loved, cowgirl boots.

I had a beautiful, relaxed Sunday.  After the service (we took a break from John and one of the elders shared a nice message about Moses.) there was a potluck and then a business meeting for the members.  Hank and I kept an eye on his three nieces while their parents were in the meeting, which was a lot of fun.  Love those girls! *smile*

I have so many pictures to share with you from the past week!  Hopefully I'll get most of them up this week.

How have you all been lately?  Are you enjoying the warm spring weather?  I want to know!

I'm wishing I could be enjoying pleasant spring weather...we're currently in the cool April shower season, but at least it's better than winter (and good for concrete)!

  4. That's a lovely eyelet skirt. And it's always so satisfying to find something perfectly fitting. :-)

Me? Sewing away on my sister's kathak skirt. Well, when I'm not, um, online, or reading for school, or doing something like that. Or finally again at one of our Presbytery's youth meetings, wait for it, shooting. :D Just airsoft/pellet guns, but I've tried a handgun for the first time, and really enjoyed it, even though most of the time I had no idea if I hit the target or not...

  5. Love this outfit very pretty and yes cow girl-y! I'm so enjoying the warm Spring weather although it's starting to turn more into summer weather here in the South...meaning hot and humid!

  7. Rebekah - I thought of you when I posted this outfit. :)
Oh how fun! Love that Cassie and I have the same shirt!! :D

Bethany - I really love the print on the shirt. It's perfectly me. :)
Ugh. We just went through a really rainy time, too. I'm so thankful for the sunshine at last!

Sarah - Miss you so much, too!!
Aww, thank you girly! Hugs back! :)

    Hana-Marmota - Indeed, it is!
You've certainly been busy! How fun that you got to do some pellet gun shooting!

Sarah - Hot and humid doesn't sound very nice. I'm afraid I'm used to hot and dry when the weather does get hot, but it's never truly unbearably hot here. Thank goodness!!

Delvalina - Thank you! I'm so glad you stopped and said hi! :)
