Cutting Down the Christmas Tree

For the past few years we've cut down our Christmas trees from the same spot on our property.
The trees are just the perfect size, so there's a wide variety to choose from.

A few pictures of my brother and I deciding on a tree...

"This is it!"

"I like this one...no needles to drop and we won't have to remember to water it!"

"Wellll...I really like this one better."

"Alex.  You don't. You like this one.  What's not to like?"

"Oh, I just can't decide!"

That face, fyi, is known as "the twisted bowler look".
If you've watched "Meet the Robinsons", you'll know where he got it from.
If you haven't...now you know.

We finally decided on a lovely Grand Fir and I think it's our prettiest Christmas tree yet.
I'll try and get some pics of the decorated tree soon.

Merry Christmas!

P.S. I've seriously given up on creative Christmas Tree post titles.  Sorry.

  1. LOL! This "sounds" so like the sort of hilarity my brother and I would fall into. Thanks for the chuckle, and congrats on your tree!

    God bless,

  8. Big trees, little trees, trees around the bend.
Trees to look at, to admire, trees to befriend.
Trees outdoors and free and one indoors: A Christmas Tree.

    Happy Christmas.
