F O U R | Mom and I have been putting a 1000 piece puzzle together.

S I X | Leia, Sweet Pea's ewe lamb.  She and her twin brother Luke are a week old now!

S E V E N | On our way to the swing dance last Saturday evening.  The sunset was so beautiful and the moon was out...

N I N E | My bottle baby, Maryann, taking a nap in the sun on our back porch.

My awesome Aunt Liz sent me a package of goodies for my birthday.

E L E V E N | The Bonnie dog and Maryann playing in the basement.  Maryann is back outside now, but Bonnie certainly enjoyed having a friend inside. :)

T W E L V E | My cousin Abbie also sent me an awesome package of birthday goodies, including these awesome socks!

T H I R T E E N | The first day of spring, it snowed. Yup.

F O U R T E E N | Birthday Starbucks with the bestie.  Which turned out to be a clever and tricky ruse to get me out of the house so she could throw me a surprise party!  I was never more surprised in my life, I assure you!  And don't let me have coffee again, Kellie.  I didn't stop vibrating for hours.

A busy, exhausting, but rewarding two weeks!  Three of my ewes lambed, giving me six healthy lambs.  Praise the Lord!  Maggie, my new mother, had twins her first time (they typically have a single the first time), but ended up rejecting one after a day.  Maryann is now my bottle baby, and doing quite well.  Her brother, Gilligan, was overeating because his mommy had milk for two, but I finally got that sorted.  They're all doing so well and I love to sit and watch them frisk around in the sunshine!  I'm still waiting for Ingrid to lamb, and I have no idea when that will be.  It's been so nice to have a break, especially after not getting a lot of sleep and being so physically exhausted that I made myself sick.  Joy.  I'm finally feeling like a human being again, and that is a very good feeling, indeed!

And I'll be sharing pictures and video from the most epic-ally awesome Doctor Who Surprise Party EVER sometime soon!  Unless Kellie shares them first. *grin*

Miscellany

Due to my life being incredibly full and busy right now, I didn't really watch anything besides Season 5 of Star Trek: Voyager (which I am LOVING!) last week, thus there was really nothing to share for Saturday Matinee.  There should be one this week though, so keep your eyes open!

Last week the Bonnie dog had to have eye surgery.  She is now the Nick Furry...er, Fury, of the dog world.

Yep, she's just got one eye now.  But she's cool with it, and so am I...sorta.  I'll admit that I was extremely upset when I realized her eye was not getting any better, and that the only option was to have it removed.  Extremely upset is really a bit of an understatement, to be completely honest.  My poor, patient brother can confirm that the day of the surgery I closeted myself in my room all day, and when Bonnie came home I spent the evening {trying} not to freak out.  Yeah...that didn't work so well, the trying not to freak out part...especially when there was a bit of blood seepage, which was completely normal, but it scared me just the same.  And sorry if that was TMI.  But we got through that, and I'm happy to say that Bonnie is doing very well.  And it really does not seem to bother her having just one eye.  The "cone of shame", now that's a different story. ;)

On February 13th, my baby brother turned 21.

Ouch.  That wasn't supposed to happen!  Happy Birthday, Alex!

And then three days later, my bestie also turned 21.

We met up with Kellie and Aubrey in Sandpoint and proceeded to have a simply splendid afternoon.  It included delicious food, "wicked" snacks, and watching The Princess Bride.  Friends, films, food - a more delightful way to spend an afternoon could not be found.

And the accent he used?  Totally awesome!  If for no other reason, like it for the accent...or the supremely cool score he wrote and recorded!  My brother...well, he's the best. ;)

Birthdays are so very special.

It's the day you came into the world.

A day devoted entirely to celebrating how marvelous you are.

Well, at least celebrating the fact that you were born;)

And to make it even better, presents are involved...

...and really, who doesn't enjoying opening presents?

Is it terribly juvenile and corny to have pictures taken of you opening presents on your 23rd birthday?

Well, even if it is, I'm sharing them anyway...

You'll just have to deal with it;)

I had a simply marvelous birthday this year, despite the fact that my Kellie missed it.

You can read her beautiful Bappy Hirthday post, if you want.

It made me smile, and I think you'll see why;)

Anyway, my grandparents came over for lunch (Noodle Express! Yummy!!), and my Grandma brought a beautiful (and delicious) chocolate cake.  The voice lessons really paid off, as I was able to blow out all 23 candles with one breath.  I don't think I've ever done that before!

Yes, I am ridiculously pleased with myself;)

My wonderful extended family sent me a group Happy Birthday email, and a phone call from my dear cousin Abbie and one from Kellie made my day perfection itself!

Alex gave me the best card ever.  He made it himself, and all he wrote inside was "Hi!"

If you've never seen Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation, then you won't get it.

My bro is the ultimate younger brother.

He gave me an autographed copy of his newly published children's book Rathdrum Willie.

I'll be sharing more about his book at a later date.

Ahem, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy Special Extended DVD Edition.

I LOVE how the DVD covers look like antique books.

And if you're going to invest in these movies, do yourself a favor and get the extended editions.  They're way better than the theatrical cut.

I add films to my collection as meticulously and carefully as I add books to my library, so I'm absolutely thrilled to be adding those to my shelf, as well as these...  

My daddy knows me well;)
