Photo-a-Day + Link-up | March {week two}

ONE | I was inspired by the early morning light flickering through the trees and by Lisa's photo last week.

TWO | Cooking breakfast in my favorite Le Creuset skillet.

THREE | Gold, glittery, magic happened.  It was awesome.

FOUR | My nieces came over to my house for the day.  We had a wonderful day, and they were such good girls, but yikes! they sure wiped me out!

FIVE | Little girl aftermath.  They loved making necklaces and playing with my miniature tea set. Loving the bokeh created by the pearl beads!

SIX | One drop of peppermint essential oil in a glass of water really helps to relieve my headaches!  It's also great for helping you to be more alert and energetic.

SEVEN | Lunch at Noodle Express with my sweetheart. :)

I feel like I say this all the time, but last week was insanely busy.  And insanely fun.  We're talking "spending hours in the shoe store with your friends trying on ridiculous high heels" fun.  And this week will be just about equally so as I finish preparations for Kellie's bridal shower.  It's going to be fabulous!

All that being said, I've decided to take a break from the photo-a-day posts and link-ups until April.
Sometimes, real life (and dishes, and cleaning, and party planning) demand your attention.  I think my creative juices will benefit from a break as well. *smile*

TWO | Finished up the crochet pattern I was working on.  That project was much more involved than I thought it would be.

THREE | Shipped on of the laptop sleeves to Australia this week!

And that's all there is...this week was insane and I didn't pick up my camera very often.

ONE | Hank took this last weekend.  I love fresh snow, so I was running around in it in my bare feet, being silly. *grin*

TWO | Cat nap.

THREE | Recently discovered how awesome this is in slow cooker recipes!

FOUR | The light was so pretty in the kitchen, and I love how my puppy sticks so close to me.  Example: she's laying right behind my chair as I type. *smile*

FIVE | My sweetheart brought me chocolate after I had a long (but wonderful) day on the Open Arms Mobile Clinic.

SIX | Working on getting pictures for my laptop sleeve pattern.

SEVEN, EIGHT, & NINE | Movie night at our house (we watched The Lego Movie) began with listening to records.

ONE | Morning Bible reading.  I'm in Leviticus and definitely ready to be done reading about animal sacrifice. *grin*

TWO | The Girl in the Green Scarf birthday present I put together for Kellie. Everything in it was green. The crowning items were the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic and a long, luxurious, silky green scarf.

THREE | Kellie's surprise party.  Boy, did we surprise her! *huge grin*

FOUR | Lilly put together this lovely moss garden for Kellie.  She made that fox folks.  Talent.

FIVE | I got this wood sign from Hobby Lobby (gift card!) and painted it red.  You'll see the finished product when I do a house tour.

SIX | Fresh snow!  Finally!

SEVEN | Coffee cake and hot chocolate for breakfast.  I try not to share photos of food, but the colors were just so pretty, I had to. *smile*

ONE | Getting that special polka dot box in the mail always brightens your day!

TWO | I hadn't planned on spending part of Tuesday in the police station! I had to fill out a statement after I witnessed a car accident the day before.  Pay attention and watch those red lights, folks!

THREE | Home made salsa - my favorite!

FOUR | Reading.

FIVE | I'm taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather we've been having to go for brisk walks/jogs every day.  Not ready for the snow to be gone, but I do enjoy the sunshine!

Photo-a-Day + Link-up | February {week one}

ONE | We drove over Lookout Pass to Missoula, MT (about 3 hours away) to buy some sheep on Sunday.  That was an interesting drive!  The way over was great, but it was snowing pretty heavily on the way back.

TWO | Our three lovely new ladies...who have no names yet.  We got them for a really, really good price, and they look really healthy,  The one on the right is 6-years-old, the middle one is her yearling daughter, and the last one is also an unrelated yearling.

THREE | Talking to my bro on the phone.

FOUR | Are you a fan of delicious flavor?

FIVE | I'm finally getting a new pair of glasses - mostly just for first thing in the morning and as backup to my contacts - and I decided to give Warby Parker a try.  They send you five frames of your choice to try on for free.  Pretty awesome!

ONE & TWO | Jenga with my bro.  This is the game that I received at my bridal shower - everyone wrote words of wisdom about marriage on the blocks.  Love it!

THREE | These hot sauce packets caught our eye. *smile*

FOUR & FIVE | Eagle watching!  It was really windy, and the eagles were high above the lake, enjoying the currents.  I used my 55mm-200mm lens, but Hank gets the credit for the above picture.

SIX | An embroidery project - it's a line from Alice in Wonderland, one of my favorites.
