It's Awesome + Shop Sale

It's awesome doing an "It's awesome" post!  It's been a while!

It's awesome talking to my nieces on the phone.  I can't always understand what they're saying, but they seem happy as long as I'm excited to listen to them.

It's awesome coming home from Open Arms and find that Hank has used his day off to do 4 loads of laundry and do all of the dishes and bake chocolate chip cookies!

It's awesome having a husband that awesome.  He blesses and encourages me every day and I'm so thankful for him.

It's awesome having time to revamp the blog, which is what I'll be working on soon. Stay tuned!

It's awesome that I also have time to work on new products for the shop - stay tuned for that as well!

It's awesome just being alive.  Having eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to love others as Christ loves me.  Taking time to appreciate the little things in life.

It's awesome that my ducks are laying again.  Seriously awesome...and yummy!

It's awesome that I'm going to crochet day at Jenny's again!  Today is our first one since...June?  Yikes!  I'm so excited!  It's even more fun now that Jenny is my sister and Heather is my cousin. :)

: ;

So, after all that awesome, I have a quick shop announcement...

Yes, this is your last chance to own a Wool & Whatnot bow slouch hat!
30% off from Jan 24th - Feb 14th, and then they're gone.

During the closeout sale, you'll save on the rest of my winter inventory - embroidered gloves and ruffle scarves!  I'm discontinuing most of the ruffle scarf colors, so this will be your last chance for those, too.

: :

I'd better hurry up and get ready to go to crochet day.  Have a lovely day, everyone!

What's awesome in your life?  I want to know!

September 19, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...sitting around a campfire singing hymns with friends.

It's awesome...going to the contra dance with your very favorite people in the entire world.  And then going to a friend's house for ice cream.  And then going to the park to watch the oncoming storm (no, not the Doctor - a lightening storm;).  And not getting home until 1:30 AM.

It's awesome...dancing.  Dancing is wonderful.  I don't know how I did without it for so long.

It's awesome...curling up on the sofa with a cuppa tea and a good book.  I've been enjoying Julie Klassen's regency romances lately.  The Apothecary's Daughter and The Tutor's Daughter were so, so good!

It's awesome...finishing a 1.2 acre fenced area for you sheep.  You can never have too many fenced pastures.

It's awesome...having a dad, brother, and friend who are willing to help pound t-posts and put of fencing.

It's awesome...driving the tractor! :D

It's awesome...raising and lowering the post hole drill on the tractor.  Clutch in, switch on PTO, clutch out.

It's awesome...that the lambs are almost ready to be butchered.  I'm ready for them to go, and I'm can't wait to have meat in the freezer!  September 30th! :D

It's awesome...going to Home Bible Study Fellowship at the assistant pastor's house.  Excellent study (we're going through Acts) and wonderful fellowship.

It's awesome...that the assistant pastor lives only a few miles down the road from us.  Really loving the short driving time!

It's awesome...when the librarian sees you checking out Doctor Who for the 100th time, and says, "Okay, since you're a Whovian, I have to ask...what do you think of the 11th Doctor?"  Which prompts an all out fangirl conversation.  We agreed that Ten is the best, Eleven is still the Doctor (although definitely not David Tennant), and we're happy to see a more 'mature' Doctor in Twelve .  And if none of that made sense to you, I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...but not sorry enough to stop. ;)

It's awesome...when your bro says, "I should be a wedding planner..."  And he's almost serious.  He'd probably be really good at it...just sayin'. *grin*

Why Don't We Just Dance

At last.  We have had a dance.  At our house.  With our most favorite people.
It was brilliant.

Stringing lights, blowing balloons, setting out refreshments, hooking up the speaker, laying out the trophies and ribbons...and smiling.  Lots and lots of that going on. *smile*

And then, our friends began arriving.

"Choose your partners!"

Kellie came up with 4 dance competition categories -  Freestyle, Most Noise, Best Swing, and *drum roll* the Epic Award.  Really.  And the fantastic Brett was our amazing judge.  Seriously, this guy took notes.  He can be the judge any day.  Also Seth, you did a great job calling the dances - thanks guys for making the evening better!

We are so doing this again.

Our dance competition winners were as follows...
Most Noise - David // Best Swing - Clara // Epic - Tilda // Freestyle - John
Congrats ladies and gents!

And to top it all off, a video montage of the evening, put together by Kellie.  Enjoy!

Happy Trails y'all!

p.s. Thanks to Kellie, Ellen, Alex and "Algy" for the beautiful photos and video!

July 27, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when your friends come over to pick cherries, and spontaneously offer to help you put 3 1/2 tons of hay up in the barn loft.  Then they stay for dinner, and we spend the evening playing music and being our weird selves.  Thank you so much you guys!!  You all know who you are:)

It's awesome...watching the sunrise.  I'm not much of a morning person, but I do occasionally enjoy seeing the sunrise.  Everything is so still and perfect in the morning...and it smells good, too.

It's awesome...driving home at 5:30 AM after dropping your bro off at the airport.  I wasn't too thrilled about getting up super early (no one - no one - should have to get up at 3:30), but the drive home was definitely worth it!

It's awesome...helping to decorate the church basement for the Vacation Bible School Rally.  Way too much fun!  Give Liz and I some crepe paper streamers, balloons, tape, some thumbtacks, and we'll go crazy. Especially Liz - she's a wedding decorator. *grin*

It's awesome...listening to the Psych theme song over...and over...and over.  That's how I roll - I'll be sick of it before long, but right now I LOVE it.  Also, Gus and Shawn are awesome.  Just sayin'...

It's awesome...trail riding.  Need I say more?

It's awesome...jumping into the lake on a hot afternoon.

It's awesome...that someone invented chap-stick.  Thank you, you genius you, whoever thought of putting lip balm in a small plastic tube!

It's awesome...that when God looks at me, He sees me washed clean, redeemed by His son Jesus.  That, is awesome.

It's awesome...talking on the phone with your bro while he's at your Grandma's 80th b-day party in CA, and the phone gets passed around so you talk to quite a few of your aunts and uncles, too.  I love and miss them all so much!

It's awesome...planning a mini road trip with your bestie. :D

It's awesome...browsing Pinterest for an hour a reasonable amount of time and coming up with outfit inspiration for church tomorrow.

It's awesome...looking forward to the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo next month!  Woohoo!!

Question:  What's awesome in your life?  I want to know!

July 11, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...spending a rainy day curled up with The Darcys of Pemberley.  Very good read!

It's awesome...having my bestie stop by for visits.  So nice that she has her own wheels now!

It's awesome...when you tell one of your lamb customers apologetically that you've had to raise your prices this year, and she says, "Hey, you haven't raised your prices for the past 7 years - don't apologize!"  Thanks, Jenny. *smile*

It's awesome...when a nice older lady at the post office compliments you on your hairstyle and asks how you did it. <3

It's awesome...going to a nice restaurant with your bro and bestie and ordering fries...just fries.  And then a HUMONGOUS Reese's Sundae which you split three ways.  And I still couldn't finish it. *sigh*

It's awesome...when your friend comes over for the afternoon and helps you clean the house, do the dishes, and make dinner.  You are such a beautiful blessing, Amanda.

It's awesome...seeing the tomato plants flowering.  I can't wait for fried green tomatoes!!

It's awesome...when your bestie comes over and helps you pull weeds.  It's what good friends do.  Thank you, Kellix:)

It's awesome...being almost done weeding the horse pasture!  That pasture was sadly neglected the past few years, but it's bouncing back quickly.

It's awesome...looking forward to the Contradance tomorrow night.  Eeep!  I can't wait!!

It's awesome...re-connecting with a very good friend.  The internet certainly has it's uses, and the Lord directs us.  So good to hear from you, Ashlynn!

It's awesome...having hot swimming weather after all of the rain we got.  Yippee!

It's awesome...sitting under an apple tree in the orchard and pondering life.  Deep thinking and soul searching.

It's awesome...when one of your lambs tries to escape by jumping past you (shoulder high) but you catch him mid-air and tackle him to the ground.  True story.

It's awesome...that God gives us the ability to love.  Love that never runs out, but only gets larger and stronger as we grow older.

It's awesome...that love can be so dazzlingly wonderful, but has the power to hurt you like nothing else.

Question: What's awesome in your life?  I want to know!

June 4, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when you and your bro are walking together on the property, but decide to take different paths, and the dog follows you.  I don't think there's anything better than knowing that your dog loves you more than anyone else on the planet.

It's awesome...when a friend has the word petrichor as their chat status. My Whovian brain almost exploded!! *huge grin reserved for DW moments only*

It's awesome...sitting on a log in the pasture watching my flock of sheep graze.  There is nothing more satisfying or peaceful on this earth.  I always feel closest to God when I'm with my sheep.

It's awesome...when it's gently raining and the sun is still shining.

It's awesome...unexpectedly bumping into a friend at the Post Office.  I love living in a small town. :)

It's awesome...when your dad is playing his bass guitar in his room upstairs, so your bro gets his guitar out and plays along while sitting right outside the open door.  You hear the music, run and get your mandolin, sit at the top of the stairs, and you all have an impromptu jam session.  We're very spontaneous.  And awesome.

It's awesome...pulling/digging thistles in the sheep pasture.  I'm not saying I really enjoy weeding, but I've found it's the perfect opportunity to do some thinking/praying while avoiding people.  People don't generally hang around when there's weeding to be done.  And nothing vents frustration like yanking a stubborn weed out!

It's awesome...sitting around a campfire late at night with friends, just talking and poking the fire with sticks.

It's awesome...when your friend brings 39 glow sticks to game night.  Thirty Nine.  You don't even want to know what we did with them, but it was epic. *grin*

It's awesome...letting go and letting the Lord take control.  Such peace and comfort.

It's awesome...looking forward to {hopefully} meeting some of my bloggy friends this week!  Eeep!!

Question: what awesome things have been happening in your life?  I want to know!

April 1, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...sitting on the front porch in the sun with a kitty on my lap.  There's still some snow on the ground, but the afternoon sun on our porch feels heavenly.

It's awesome...when you're dad comes back from the feed store with not only the bags of feed he was supposed to get, but a container of apple flavored horse treats.  I have no idea why he decided to get those. He's cute. :)

It's awesome...seeing Megan Follows (aka the Anne of Green Gables) as a guest star in Season 3 of Heartland!!  *squeak*  Actually, that was kind of weird - Anne is Ty's mom?!  But hey, things were already weird, so why not add another suitcase of weird while we're at it!

It's awesome...waking up from a nap and rolling over just in time to see my dog, who was curled up next to me with her face buried in my hair, breath in deeply and let out a huge contented sigh.  Not sure if that was because she was smelling my hair or because she was deep in her doggy dreams, but it was cute either way. ;)

It's awesome...introducing my bro to Robin Hood (BBC) while he was sick this week.  Me: How do you like it so far?  Him: Great!  I really like it!  Coming from him, that's high praise, indeed.

It's awesome...walking along the beach at Farragut State Park.  It was a bit breezy, but it felt so good to be at the lake again!

It's awesome...watching Wait Until Dark by yourself, with all of the lights out. *chills* I can't even watch the last climatic scene all the way through, it's just too creepy!  Possibly even creepier than the shower scene in Psycho...nah, they're both equally creepy in their own ways.  Yes, I do occasionally enjoy being scared out of my mind by a fantastic thriller. ;)

It's awesome...going to church on Easter Sunday.  There's no other Sunday that's quite so special and meaningful.  Because He lives, my faith is not in vain.

February 28, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when you get a $25 off coupon code from eShakti just for being a new customer.  Found an adorable dress in the overstock section (40% off).  Got it for $15.90.  Ooooh yeah!

It's awesome...playing the clothespin game at a friend's house warming party.  You know, the one where everyone starts out with one clothespin, and if you see someone cross their arms or legs you get to take their clothespin...or visa versa.  So simple, but so much fun.

It's awesome...when you realize you have more time left on your free Netflix trial than you thought you had.  I am so going to get through all of Star Trek: Voyager!! =D

It's awesome...when the moonlight is so bright you can see your shadow on the snow.

It's awesome...knowing that Spring will be here before too long.  Love the snow...but I am ready for Spring.

It's awesome...playing Mafia at our last game night.  Too much fun!  Picture post coming soon...like Aslan, I call all time "soon". ;)

It's awesome...listening to my family watch Sky King in the other room.  I love old TV shows, but this one wins hands down as lamest show ever.  The plots center around an airplane pilot/cowboy (I know, really?!) with the unlikely name of Sky King.  Sky is his first name, and King is his last.  Sky King.  I only wish I were kidding you.  Sky has a super annoying niece named Penny who is always getting kidnapped or something equally dumb.  Not to mention, the actress playing Penny can't act to save her life.  But, my dad is an airplane and helicopter pilot, so he loves it in spite of, or perhaps because of, it's corniness.  I prefer to listen from the other room, doubled over in silent laughter.

It's awesome...when your friend has a grey cat named Gandalf.  Get it?  Gandalf the Grey?  Awesomeness.

It's awesome...realizing that in 18 days, I will be 24.  Where have the years gone?  In all honesty, I still feel like I'm 18.  Hard to believe that that was 6 years ago...wow.  Now I feel old.

It's awesome...being asked to sing at our church's music night next month.  Surprisingly, I'm actually looking forward to it, although I'll admit that my first thought was, "Why would anyone be so mean, asking me to get up in front of everyone and sing?!"  But my bro really wants to do it, and his enthusiasm is rubbing off on me.  We're going to sing "Glorious Day".  And it will be fun, and I will control my nerves.  After all, it's really not about me, it's about glorifying God and blessing those around me.  Yeah, try and tell that to my nerves!

It's awesome...discovering this website.  Just think of a fictional character and answer Akinator's questions honestly. I seriously spent hours this evening trying to stump him.  His knowledge of Dicken's characters and Henty heroes is lacking. ;)

Have a lovely weekend, y'all!

February 5, 2013

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when your dad buys your mom flowers.

It's awesome...that he always plops them haphazardly into a vase.

It's awesome...because he knows I'll come along and arrange them properly for him.

It's awesome...learning more about your Great Great Grandmother Lucy on your mom's side.  She lived on a ranch in California in the early 1900s and was apparently a bit of a pioneer as she wore pants when working on the ranch and even had a drivers license, neither of which were typical for women in those days.

It's awesome...that that ranch in California is still owned by the family (my mom, her siblings, and their cousins all own shares), although it's not a working ranch anymore.  Sadly, it's quite rundown.  Last time I was there (which had to be about 10 years ago) the ranch house was in complete disrepair and inhabited only by mice and bats.  Perhaps needless to say, we camped in an RV and a tent. ;)

It's awesome...going through the book It's {Not That} Complicated by Anna Sophia & Elizabeth Botkin with a group of girls at church.  Since I'm older, a lot of the topics and ideas are ones I'm already familiar with, but I'm really being blessed through our study.  It's great getting to share thoughts with the girls!

It's awesome...getting two new (to me) colors of Essie nail polish in the mail.  I decided to try Mint Candy Apple (a beautiful minty color with just a hint of blue) and St. Lucia Lilac (a lovely pale lilac).  I'm wearing the lilac right now and I love it! Sometimes, you just need a little something to boost your spirits during the months right before spring. :)

It's awesome...watching one of the latest episodes of LBD.  Darcy in an afro wig?!  Ahahahahaha!!  LOVE!!!

It's awesome...coming home from a thrifting expedition with some super cute "new" clothes.  I love thrifting with friends!

It's awesome...buying the first two records for my vintage record collection.  Eeep!!!  I found a Frank Sinatra record and a Pat Boone record at the antique store the other day for about $5 each.  So, so excited!  I can't wait to listen to them!  And who knows when that will be since I don't own a turntable.

It's awesome...finally deciding to sign up for Netflix and take advantage of their month long free trial. Wish I could have it all the time!  Maybe someday when I actually have a "real" job. ;)

It's awesome...turning in my job application at the florist shop.  And now...we wait.

It's awesome...enjoying each day the Lord gives me.  I may not always be as joyful as I should be, but He has blessed me beyond what I deserve.  I thank Him for each day He gives me and for each person He has put in my life.

It's awesome...when your church puts such emphasis on unity within the body of Christ.  It really feels and functions like a family.  Everyone really and truly cares about everyone else.   And our potlucks are the best ever.  Just sayin'.

Question: What are some of the awesome things in your life?  I want to know!

p.s.
Kellie's 3rd annual Literary Heroine Blog Party is coming up!  Don't miss the fun! :)

December 11, 2012

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when you can step outside in your pink kitty pajamas and there are no neighbors to see or care.   And let me tell you, I really rock the mud boots, jim-jams, barn coat, bed-head look.  At least the chickens are impressed!

It's awesome...when you start to get up from the computer with your headphones still on, but you remember to take them off before you drag the speakers off the desk and onto the floor.

It's awesome...getting a letter from your friend who's currently in the Philippines working at a clinic as a midwife.  You can read about Sarah's adventures here!

It's awesome...watching The Swiss Family Robinson with your family and being able to quote every line almost word for word before the characters say it.  We've watched that movie more times than I can count, ever since we were little kids at Grandma's house.

It's awesome...remembering what a crush I had on Fritz (James MacArthur) when I was 8-years-old.  I still just love that character - he's so manly. ;)

It's awesome...driving in the rain.  Not torrential rain, just enough to count as rain.  I love it.

It's awesome...doing the dishes while your brother sits at the computer and reads you the rough draft of his latest kids book.   Talk about laughing so hard you can't breath.  My brother has such a talent for putting words together.

It's awesome...hanging Christmas lights from the ceiling in your basement "playroom".  They make it look so festive and special!  I just love twinkling lights.  I think they're my favorite decoration.

It's awesome...when the 94-year-old man at your church gives his testimony and then sings all four verses of How Great Thou Art during church.  It was so beautiful and he still has a great voice!

It's awesome...looking at the beautiful nativity scene your neighbor puts up every year.  It's so lovely in the snow.

It's awesome...when you're at a friends house and suddenly you find yourself part of a back-rub "train" with seven people in it, all giving each other back-rubs.  Yeah, we do things like that.

It's awesome...when you're at the same friends house and suddenly find your height and "wingspan" being measured and then helping to measure everyone else in the room.  The length of your wingspan is supposed to equal your height, and we wanted to see how many of us had long arms.  My wingspan is 3 inches longer than my height.   And yes, all of this took place after 9:00 at night...we were well on our way to an extreme case of the Midnight Sillies. ;)

Merry Christmas!

Question: What is one of the silliest things that you and your friends or family have done late at night?  I want to know!

November 27, 2012

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when you're reading The Hobbit and you laugh until you cry when you get to the part when Bilbo is rolling about on the floor shrieking "struck by lightening, struck by lightening"...and then you laugh until you can't breath imagining Martin Freeman as Bilbo acting that scene.  Don't know if that will be in the film, but I sincerely hope so.  That would be brilliant. ;)

It's awesome...listening to your brother and Grandma playing the piano together.  Those two are insanely talented.  Not that I'm a no talent bum or anything, but, in the words of dear Algy, "I don't play accurately--anyone can play accurately--but I play with wonderful expression."

It's awesome...when your Grandma brings you copies of her Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, and Gene Kelly piano sheet music.  She knows me well and I'm always up for some new songs!

It's awesome...when your Grandma can play the Bumble Boogie. =)

It's awesome...talking to friends after church on Sunday.

It's awesome...finding the complete series (seasons 1-3) of Wanted: Dead or Alive (with Steve McQueen) for $12 on Amazon.  Wooooooohooo!! :D

It's awesome...when it takes you a bit longer to get a joke and when you finally do you laugh harder than everyone else...and they laugh at you for finally getting it, but in a friendly way.  I'm not usually slow, but we all have our moments...;)

It's awesome...when there's a heavy frost covering everything - the ground, the bare twigs on the trees and bushes, the crunchy fallen leaves - and everything shimmers and sparkles in the moonlight, which is almost as bright as daylight.  And you get to walk to the barn through that magical world.

It's awesome...when you find out your friend really does have a set of bagpipes.  Really.  They are a glorious red plaid and everything bagpipes should be...except they don't work yet.  But they will, they will...

Have a wonderful, awesome day everyone! :D

Question:  Do you enjoy bagpipe music?  I want to know!

November 5, 2012

It's awesome.

It's awesome...when you're leaving the Post Office and an older man using a cane holds the door open for you, even though he's having trouble just walking through himself.  And then you hold the second door open for him.

It's awesome...holding one of the most adorable little one-year-old girls you've ever seen on your lap.  They're so plump and cuddly at that age, and I just love kids anyway. :)

It's awesome...watching the same little girl and her sister playing with fuzzy pipe-cleaners during church.  Those things keep them distracted forever!  I'm tucking that idea away for my future children.

It's awesome...when the guest speaker's sermon at church is "Does God Care About You?"  And you spend the next 30-40 min. hopping all over the Bible reading passages that say "Yes, He does!"

It's awesome...when you're blog reaches over 100 followers!  Hooray!  Lots of followers isn't my goal, but I'm not going to deny that it makes me super happy!  Thank you all!! :D

It's awesome...when all of the before-the-snow-comes clean-up is done outside and you can spend your days warm and snugly by the fire, reading books, playing music, watching movies and beating your mom at Blokus. *grin*

It's awesome...sipping hot chocolate on a chilly morning.

It's awesome...when you finally hit upon the perfect way to up-cycle/re-fashion that thrift store find from five years ago.  I'll be sharing pics later. :)

It's awesome...when there has been road construction on the highway right where you live all summer and they finally finish the new overpass, on-ramps and off-ramps.  It's fantastic!!  And sooooo much safer than before.  There used to be a lot of accidents right there because of the Silverwood theme park.  Yeah, there's a theme park close to where we live...sort of in the middle of nowhere...it's a bit weird.

It's awesome...when you're driving on the overpass for the first time and woo-hooing at the top of your lungs all the way...and then you realize how much of a country hick you really are. hehe

It's awesome...talking to friends on chat.

It's awesome...when a friend from church says she  visited your blog and it was one of the most fun blogs she's ever visited.  That made my day.

It's awesome...looking at a newborn baby's fingers.  They are amazing.

It's awesome...when you realize once again just how blessed you are.

Have an awesome, blessed day everyone! :)

October 5, 2012

It's awesome.

It's awesome, watching the steam rise from the asphalt where the sun is hitting it while you're driving in the cold morning air after the first frost of autumn.

It's awesome, when it's cold enough to pull out the sweaters and boots.  Hooray for Autumn!!!

It's awesome, finding excellent alfalfa hay for a reasonable price.

It's awesome, when the guy selling the alfalfa has a grapple on his tractor for loading the hay onto your trailer. Why lift and stack bales by hand unless you have to?

It's awesome, when you're helping your dad tie down the alfalfa on the trailer and the hay guy turns to your dad and says, "Isn't it wonderful having a daughter?"  Warm fuzzies all the way home.

It's awesome, stacking the alfalfa under the shelter with your brother and when you're finished you just sit there sniffing the HEAVENLY sent of beautiful, green, leafy hay.  There is nothing better, folks.  Nothing.

It's awesome, when you have all of the hay and feed needed for all of the animals over the winter.

It's awesome, when your butcher calls up and asks if he can do your lambs 6 days earlier than scheduled, and you've been hoping for exactly that.  Bye bye lambies - hello lamb chops!

It's awesome, when your garden is covered in plastic and you're still getting fresh tomatoes and peppers after the first frost.

It's awesome, when you're going to spend the night at your best friends place and watch Doctor Who and talk all night long.

It's awesome, when you realize once again how much your Heavenly Father loves you.  That you are forever forgiven and loved by your Creator.

It's awesome, folding warm laundry on a cold day.

It's awesome, watching the presidential debate with your dad.  I'm not gonna lie, having him tell Obama to shut-up every time he opened his mouth made my evening. *grin*

It's awesome, being alive today.

September 19, 2012

It's awesome.

It's awesome, when you've been putting off cleaning the refrigerator, and then your dad and brother clean it for you.

It's awesome, when you get your carpets cleaned and the carpet cleaner guys name is Thor.  No, he didn't look like Chris Hemsworth...what a pity.

It's awesome, when you're making dinner and listening to your brother's Bluegrass band practicing.

It's awesome, when you realize all over again how much you love playing the mandolin.

It's awesome, when you're all caught up on laundry.

It's awesome, when get to spend the afternoon watching All Creatures Great and Small while working on a custom Etsy order.

It's awesome, when you've been singing O For a Thousand Tongues in the shower on Sunday morning and then it's one of the hymns you sing in church.

It's awesome, listening to the sound of everyone turning the pages of their Bibles in church.

It's awesome, when the pastor's message is exactly what you needed to hear.

It's awesome, when you're feeding the horses in the evening and you decide to call your aunt on the cell phone...and you sit there in the hay loft talking until 11:00.

It's awesome, when you have a fangirl conversation about the completely adorable David Tennant with your best bloggy friends on Pinterest...especially when you realize that everyone else would think you're insane...and they'd be right.

It's awesome, and a tad bit frightening, when your grandma tells you, "Don't blink" and you stare at her with huge eyes for about 5 seconds before you realize she wasn't referring to Doctor Who and there are no Weeping Angels in the room.

It's awesome, when you're trying to explain something to your best friend, but you can't quite find the right words, so you say, "Oh, you know what I mean!".  And she does.

It's awesome, when you can spend the evening typing up a post for your blog about the awesome things in your life.

*smile*

December 28, 2011

Because...

...even if you're not a Star Wars geek, this is worth watching.
Absolutely amazing.
Enjoy;)
